![]() Once inside the building it was very interesting and promising. Bought our tickets early, arrived 30 minutes early and waited in line. ![]() I knew it would be "crowded" so I went with a open mind because my girls really wanted to go. This was on the top of our list for Vegas Vacation. Overall, it was something we can say we did, but not something that my family or I would recommend. Many of the interactive exhibits and rooms were music related like making music, which was cool but not what we were hoping. It was more of an art exhibit than anything. As escape room enthusiasts, the “puzzles” were disappointing and confusing. We were also confused about how we were supposed to “free the source”, and when we did figure out how, we needed help from an employee to do so. There was a cool artsy aspect of it, as well as amazing structure, but many of the rooms were purely artistry and not even related to the storyline, as well as didn’t make complete sense. Our family was hoping for secret passages and puzzles, as well as an answer to the “mystery of omega mart”. I was disappointed in the overall storyline, as the correct order was nearly impossible to discover, and didn’t make much sense. My family and I spent the extra money on top of our tickets for the storyline passes. They thanked me later for the spoilers because they did get stumped but were able to complete the experience with the hints I gave them. My kids said it was a bit physical in some areas where they climbed ropes or went on slides. Wear comfortable shoes and read all their rules prior to going. The experience is an art installation and also kind of like an escape room only there are lots of rooms to explore. ![]() I told my daughters not to look at them unless they got "stuck". I also researched and printed spoiler hints that I found online in a blog. I highly recommend you purchase tickets online prior to going. It is free to get into Area 15 but you need to make an online reservation. ![]() We hung out at the bar outside for a bit too. There are other things you can do while in Area 15 such as virtual experiences and adult style arcades. ![]() I am disappointed that we did not join them. My husband and I ate and had drinks to kill time while they were enjoying the experience. My 18 and 19 year-old daughters did with two 17 year-old friends. A place full of surprises, you’ll never know what to expect at Meow Wolf Denver.I researched the Omega Mart and Area 15 (the building that houses the mart) prior to coming to Vegas. Guests will find castles in large open rooms connected to a lush alien rain forest and an ice world just around the corner from creepy catacombs. The more you move through the exhibits the more the story of the Convergence Station comes together. There are immersive hallways and rooms to get lost in for hours as well as some art behind glass for viewing pleasures only. There were an even number of men and women selected and 38 percent of the artists are people of color. The artists featured at Meow Wolf Denver come from a diverse array of backgrounds. In the end, they collaborated with artists, musicians, performers, designers, writers, and sculptors from around the US. The exhibit received over 1000 submissions from artists when designing the new attraction. Filled with bright, brilliant hues that seem to almost levitate off of the walls into reality, Meow Wolf is a contemporary art haven with a collection of designs and pieces from over 300 creatives, with 110 of them being based in Colorado. ![]()
